Meet Attorney Sherilyn (Sheri) Jo Tucker
I earned my Masters Science in Psychology from East Central University (1987) and my Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville in 1991. I worked as a contract attorney for Monsanto and opened my law firm in 1993. My practice areas focused on estate planning, special needs, and school law. I successfully helped parents with IEP issues. I've always enjoyed helping parents and children with disabilities. In 2018, I decided to dedicate my law practice primarily to estate planning, including elder care and special needs trusts, probate and trust administration. The Pandemic increased the uptick in probate for the firm. Trust Administration is where I help successor trustees navigate the complexities of administering a trust for incapacitated parents even into the final stages after death.
Over the last few years, I held leadership positions in the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) for the Solo/Small Firm Group, I am a member of the Catholic Bar Association, American Bar Association, St. Louis County Bar Association, and sit on the Board of Directors for the St. Thomas More Society
When I'm not working, I spend time with my husband and two dogs. I enjoy watching Notre Dame football, Cardinals baseball games, and Kansas City Chiefs football. I'm excited about the new Soccer Team in St. Louis. I'm a dog person and enjoy walking my dogs. Currently I have two standard poodles. One I inherited when my mom died. She is so sweet and loving. I adopted her cousin and he is sporty and energetic. My favorite hobby is photography.
